NO HOLDS BARRED: L. Jon Wertheim of Sports Illustrated
On this edition of NO HOLDS BARRED, the second this week, host Eddie Goldman speaks with L. Jon Wertheim, a senior writer at Sports Illustrated.
The May 28, 2007, edition of Sports Illustrated featured a groundbreaking and positive cover story on mixed martial arts and UFC, written by Jon, called "The New Main Event".
In a lengthy interview, we discuss this story, mixed martial arts and UFC in general, what his plans are for covering mixed martial arts, and where this sport and its organizations may be headed.
