On this edition of No Holds Barred, host Eddie Goldman speaks with three-time U.S. national freestyle wrestling champion and now mixed martial arts fighter, King Mo Lawal. Mo made his successful fighting debut this past Sunday, September 28, defeating veteran Travis Wiuff in the first round by TKO with a ground-and-pound attack, at the Sengoku 5 show in Tokyo, Japan.
That fight can be seen above.
In a lengthy discussion, we talk about Mo's entry into the world of mixed martial arts, his victorious first fight, his plans for the future, his criticisms of USA Wrestling and whether or not he will continue wrestling, his views on a number of upcoming major boxing fights, and more.
