SecondsOut Radio: Paulie Malignaggi, Shannon Briggs-Sultan Ibragimov Preview
On this week's edition of SecondsOut Radio, host Eddie Goldman begins by previewing the fight between the colorful and controversial WBO heavyweight champ, Brooklyn's Shannon Briggs (48-4-1, 42 KOs), and Russia's Sultan Ibragimov (20-0-1, 17 KOs), a 2000 Olympic silver medalist. This title bout will take place Saturday, June 2, at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey, and be shown on pay-per-view TV.
We next speak with another colorful Brooklyn fighter, Paulie Malignaggi (22-1, 5 KOs). He will be fighting the IBF junior welterweight champ Lovemore N'dou (45-8-1, 30 KOs) in a title fight Saturday, June 16, at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn., and on HBO in the U.S. We spoke with Paulie by phone about what to expect in this fight, what he learned from his sole loss last year to Miguel Cotto, and whom he would like to fight after N'dou.

At the press conference Wednesday, it was stated by promoter Leon Margules that the US pay-per-view will feature veteran announcers Barry Tompkins and Al Bernstein. There will also be Spanish-language, Russian-language, and international broadcasts with their own announcers. I don't know about HD, but here is what the press release said about the TV:
