No Holds Barred: Eddie Goldman and Scott Casber on Catch Wrestling, on Takedown Radio
On this edition of No Holds Barred, host Eddie Goldman was once again interviewed by Scott Casber, the host of Takedown Wrestling Radio.
This discussion took place on Takedown Wrestling Radio and was recorded Thursday.
The main topic of our discussion was the college wrestling "invasion" of catch wrestling and the Catch Wrestling Alliance International Invitational: The Rebirth. This event will be held Saturday, June 7, in Collins Court in the John Wooden Center on the campus of UCLA, at 221 Westwood Plaza, Los Angeles, California 90095-1612.
We also discussed the origins of catch wrestling; how elite and college wrestlers may have a similar major impact on catch wrestling as they have had on MMA; the issue of head trauma in sports like MMA and the recent study from the University of Toronto Concussion Program, whose lead author was Dr. Michael Hutchison; concussions in wrestling; the Mayweather-Maidana and Stiverne-Arreola fights and boxing's woes; and much more.
