On this edition of No Holds Barred, host Eddie Goldman reviews the 2012 FILA Pankration World Championships with Ricardo Liborio, Laura Edler-Hill, and Rich Tado.

The 2012 FILA World Championships of Grappling, Pankration, and Amateur MMA were held November 15-18, 2012, at the Hala Widowiskowo Sportowa in Skala, Poland, near Krakow. The Pankration competition took place the first day, November 15.

Ricardo Liborio is the co-owner and head instructor for American Top Team and head coach of USA Grappling.

Rich Tado is from the Old School Wrestling Training Center in Huntley, Illinois, an assistant wrestling coach at Harper College in Palatine, Illinois, and a FILA referee

Laura Edler-Hill is the Illinois representative of the USA Federation of Pankration Athlima and Amateur MMA, and a FILA referee.

We spoke with them in a roundtable discussion recorded a few hours after the Pankration competition had ended.

Acknowledging that this was the first time he had watched the FILA Pankration live, Ricardo Liborio commented, "It definitely was so exciting," noting "the fast pace of all the matches."
