No Holds Barred: Mark Pavelich on MFC 33

On this edition of No Holds Barred, host Eddie Goldman speaks with Mark Pavelich, the owner and president of the Maximum Fighting Championship.

This Friday, May 4, the Maximum Fighting Championship returns to the Mayfield Conference Centre in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, for MFC 33: Collision Course. The card is headlined by a fight for the MFC welterweight title between Nathan Coy (10-4) and Ryan McGillivray (12-5-1). It will air live in the U.S. on HDNet Fights beginning at 10 p.m. ET/8 p.m. MT/7 p.m. PT (check local listings for channel designation). MFC 33 will also air on tape-delay throughout Canada on TSN2 at a later date.

We recently spoke with the always-outspoken Mark Pavelich by phone about this important card. We also discussed the future of the MFC and many other topics. In addition, we open by reading a statement Mark Pavelich sent us expressing his views on the formation of the International Mixed Martial Arts Federation (IMMAF).
