Journalists Make NCAA Div. I Wrestling Predictions

Earlier this week, I had the privilege of being asked by TheMat.com to participate with a group of top wrestling journalists in making predictions for the 2007 NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships, which take place Thursday, March 15, through Saturday, March 17, at the Palace of Auburn Hills in suburban Detroit, Michigan.

Those
predictions have now been posted.

For a variety of reasons, I really did not and could not devote the time required to cover the world's oldest sport properly during the 2006-07 college season. I imagine that will be reflected in the accuracy (or, rather, lack thereof) of my picks, but hopefully that can be corrected beginning in the fall.

Also, on my NO HOLDS BARRED show, we did speak with veteran wrestling journalist and photographer Bob Mayeri, who will once again be covering this event from matside.

To listen to NO HOLDS BARRED, click here or here or here and just press the play button on the player. You can also listen to it through my blog and my MySpace page, also by pressing the play button on the player.

Also, NO HOLDS BARRED is available through iTunes.

The show is in MP3 format, so may take some time to download.

The NO HOLDS BARRED theme song is called "The Heist", by musician Ian Carpenter.

NO HOLDS BARRED is free to listen to and is sponsored by:
