NO HOLDS BARRED: Rico Chiapparelli and the Arte Suave of Submission Wrestling
On this week's edition of NO HOLDS BARRED, host Eddie Goldman speaks with Rico Chiapparelli about the latest edition of the event he runs, the Professional Submission League (PSL). Their most recent show was held Friday, November 17, at the Veterans Memorial Hall in Culver City, Calif., near Los Angeles.
Submission wrestling, according to Rico, is the "arte suave" of combat sports. "We're the top end of the combat market," he said in this interview.
We discuss why he believes this, as well as what went right and what went wrong at their latest event, and what the future holds for the PSL.
