On this edition of No Holds Barred, host Eddie Goldman previews the Strikeforce mixed martial arts card which takes place Saturday, August 21, at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas, and will be telecast live in the U.S. on Showtime.

In the main event, Strikeforce light heavyweight champion "King" Mo Lawal (7-0) will defend his belt for the first time, facing Rafael "Feijao" Cavalcante (9-2). In the co-feature, Tim Kennedy (12-2) will fight Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and ADCC champion Ronaldo "Jacare" Souza (12-2-1) for the vacant Strikeforce middleweight (185 pounds) title. Also on the televised card, heavyweight Bobby Lashley will fight Chad Griggs, and lightweights K.J. Noons (9-2) and Jorge Gurgel (13-6) will face off.

On a series of recent media conference calls, we got comments about what to expect in these fights from all eight fighters on the televised card: "King" Mo Lawal, Rafael "Feijao" Cavalcante, Tim Kennedy, Ronaldo "Jacare" Souza, Bobby Lashley, Chad Griggs, K.J. Noons, and Jorge Gurgel.

We also open with a commentary on some of the recent scandals which have been plaguing the mixed martial arts around the world.
