New Year's Thoughts When I Should Still Be Sleeping
I didn't do amateur night New Year's Eve. But I hear there's plenty of beer left.
Boxing returns in earnest this week.
The Judah-Baldomir and Mormeck-Bell show promoted by King at the Theater at Madison Square Garden and on Showtime is Saturday, with the usual pre-fight press conference and weigh-in theatrics on tap.
Plus, from Cicero, Illinois, near Chicago, Showtime's "ShoBox" starts the year off Friday with undefeated welterweight Joel Julio facing Robert Kamya.
There are also at least three boxing conference calls planned for the week, and, last I heard, finally the annual New York meeting of the Boxing Writers Association of America.
The blog nomenklatura recommend using as many links as possible in an article. I dunno, it's way overdone sometimes, even by me. So here's a link to end all links. Use it!
Here's hoping both youse and y'all have a happy new year.
Wishing you the best in 2006! Lots of great fights to look forward to...you know that my panties are wet over the upcoming Gatti-Damgaard fight on the 28th.
Thanks, too, Blonde. But philosophically, being a materialist and somewhat of a skeptic, I will need proof, you know.
